RESONANCE: EROS ECHOES

What is resonance?

From the latin 'resonare' meaning to reverberate, or vibrate.

Resonance is the echo of connection; when our eyes meet, our hearts sync to the beat, our voices sing in harmony, our bodies unite in dance and our stories are shared in ceremony. 

Our gathering weaves together practices that catalyze resonance, such as breath-work, movement, dance, song, story, food, healing arts and more into a 6-hour community resonance ritual. 

Through our offerings we nourish the community and catalyze all towards deeper connection. By intertwining our gifts, the tapestry of our impact expands in all directions. 

This gathering will honor the echoes of eros, the dance of masculine and feminine energy within us all, regardless of our gender expression. Let's breathe together, dance together, sing together and eat together. No prior experience is necessary. All are welcome.

Resonance takes place at The Knife Factory, stewarded by Chelsea Miller, and is produced by Catalyst with the support of many generous partners.

Catalyst is produced by a female-led queer team, and our mission is to create safe spaces for all humans to become catalysts for one another's transformation, joy and collective expansion.

KATYA STEPANOV (she/her)
 DJ SPASIBA, Co-Producer, Curator

Katya Stepanov (she/her) is a Post-Soviet Jewish-Ukrainian-Russian artist, facilitator, singer, DJ, entrepreneur, healer, musician, and poet. Katya creates resonant spaces where connection thrives. She is a co-founder of Inheritance Project and Rebis, an immersive experience collective. Katya is a resident of Collective BAE - a NYC based impact agency amplifying cross-cultural connection, collaboration, co-creation and wellness for ALL. She is deeply passionate about somatic work and believes that freedom begins in the body. As DJ SPASIBA, her sound reflects her third-culture-kid experiences interweaving jungle beats, European house, deep techno and melodic drive.

MALLORY COMBEMALE (she/her)
Breath Connection

Mallory Combemale is the founder of Breath Connection and co-founder of the Inheritance Project. In her 10+ years exploring yoga, meditation, Reiki, and many different spiritual traditions, she has found breath practices to be the most powerful tool for transformation and connection. She is a grateful student and teacher of the Himalayan kriya yoga tradition through Ananda Mehrotra (Sattva Yoga Academy, 500Hr YTT) and the neuroscience of breath (Nalanda Institute). Her teaching and work is also shaped by her training as an ethnographer and experience as a professional facilitator. When not facilitating or teaching breath-work, you’ll find her dancing, cooking and hanging out with trees.

Allyssa Rivera (she/ella) is a dance alchemist, dance/movement psychotherapist and facilitator with The 360 Emergence, where she fuses somatics and embodiment expertise with artistic and spiritual depth. Native to Puerto Rico, Allyssa's journey through diverse clinical and community settings reflects her commitment to healing and transformation, as dance provided her from a very young age. Allyssa brings her fire, strength, and vulnerability to her offerings, showcasing the capacity for dance and movement to bridge cultures and catalyze growth.

In the last three years alone he has toured this work to China, Thailand, Guatemala, Australia, Canada, Mexico, India, Denmark, Portugal, Hawaii, Colombia, Germany, and all across the U.S.

With over 10 years as a 5 Rhythms dancer and mixologist in NYC, Wild Spirits was born out of a passion to marry this vibration of connection with the life-giving properties of mother nature and bring that dance inside the body. A dance of flavors, and natural healing properties that enhance and elevate us from the inside out.

Eden Sky Orion is a New York City based astrologer, writer, and movement and meditation teacher. Guided by her own healing journey she’s dedicated to offering tools that allow for living in harmony with the rhythms of the body, and deeply listening to the voice of the heart. Eden practices a spacious and reflective approach to Western astrology, embedded with influences from counseling psychology, somatic sciences, and feminist mythology.
